Tempting II Question

I just finished working the body of Tempting II and am now on the row that divides for the sleeves.
The pattern reads:
Break yarn, place next 14 sts on waste yarn; rejoin yarn, work 66 sts.

I broke the yarn and placed the 14 stitched on waste yarn.

My question is: with which needle do I knit the 66 stitches? I am thinking it’s my right needle BUT wouldn’t this make a loop with the 14 stitches on waste yarn?

Appreciate all the help I can get!
