I am working on the first sleeve which is the first part that is knit in the round. ( The body is on circs but knit back and forth because it is a cardigan) I have picked up the 54 stitches for the left sleeve as indicated, knit in pattern for 11 rounds (it was supposed to be 5 rounds but I mistook rounds for sets of two rounds) then did my first decrease round. The decrease round decreases by 2 stitches each time. I am doing size 3, so by my calculations, there should be a total of 8 stitches decreased which would bring me to 46 stitches. The pattern indicates that with size 3, I should end up with 32 stitches. There is no errata for this pattern. I have attached the relevant section and any help would be greatly appreciated!
The directions want you to decrease every 8th round 3 times then every 10th round 7 timesafter the initial decrease round. That will be 11 decreases for a total of 22sts decreased (54-22=32). You’ve skipped to the 4th size in that last direction.

Thank you. Just good to have a fresh eye on the pattern. I love the swing of this cardigan.
