I found this great tank top that calls for Paton Grace yarn. Not sure what that is yet, have not seen it at the store as of yet. But I would like to do this in a great yarn that is very slinky, sexy and tight. Any recommendations. I want this to be very form fitting for the curves and bust line

It’s a very thin cotton. Hobby Lobby’s synfonia would be a substitute, possibly Lion’s Microspun. The ‘slinky, sexy and tight’ comes from the pattern as much as the yarn. You’d want to knit a size that ends up smaller than your bust measures, perhaps 2-4", then you’d get form-fitting.
You might consider Elann Sonata or espirit , one of these is very elastic and would work well for your pattern.
Ooooo…some reallly nice lightweight dk yarn is ELANN’s “Lara”.
I knit several items using it…and it is delicious! Very beautiful!
It is not stretchy. Nice price: $2.38 for 138yds/50g balls! And lots of great colors!

What you see in the distance ARE CLOUDS! We are so high up that we are sometimes above the clouds, or in the clouds. In the Fall, we can be sitting by the fire, having morning coffee…and a huge thick dense impenetrable low hanging cloud moves over our mountaintop…gently moving from east to west…and we are engulfed in what you think is FOG, but it’s actually a cloud! Eeery!
Also, a 200 yards beyond that red bird house is a cliff. Those two “small trees” on the right of the birdhouse are really TALL trees down the cliff! I never go down that side of the summit. My hounds do, but go a round-about way. Not straight down.
This is a cloud that moved through! It’s here, and then it’s gone!
It reminds me of sci-fi movies we used to see when we were kids!
Really. Clouds? I guess I can see it now, the way they flow through the ravines in the mountains. That is pretty high.
When I lived in N Idaho there would be fog inversions in the valley, but up on the ski resort it was bright and sunny, so I know what you mean about being above the clouds.
Thanks all for the replies… and reminded me of asking if the official website for Elanna Yarns is really discount pricing? Seems a nice deal but wanted to be sure before I dove in. Found some nice cottons on it. Just found cotton for washcloths… and I adore it. Can socks or clothes be made with it? I just get the best finish with it so far. Not all frayed looking.
Miss Artlady… those are amazing items you showed… I love the 2nd set of items you showed with the hat. Wish I had a little one for it… assuming its for a small girl.
Any advise on how to take that tank top into a summer dress? My daughers waist is 32 or 34 but her hips are a lot larger maybe 38? And shes got so thighs to her… shes tiny but out of proportions… waist goes way in… then OUT… as she says. But would love to make that a summer dress for her… to just below the knee. So I quess I just need increases then the length.

That’s elann.com and yes, they post the original price (or equivalent if it’s their yarn) and then what they sell it for.
To lengthen that you would cast on enough sts for her hip size or a little more, then decrease just below the waist (or use smaller needles) then inc a little more for her bust which may not be as many as you started with.
