THANK YOU CAROL!
Dink, if you don’t end up getting what you need, consider making your own needles. I made my own from watching Amy’s tutorial (scroll to the bottom of the page).
The size you’re needing is a fairly common dowel rod size. You can go to either a craft store, Wal-Mart, or a home hardward store to buy the dowel rods. Just take along a needle guage. Slip various size dowels into the holes of your needle gauge until you find the right size dowel you’re needing. It took a little elbow grease, but it was super simple. I made a few pair that way, and the larger sizes seemed the easiest to make. My size 11 dpn’s cost me less than a dollar to make, and an hour or so of my time. :happydance:
I’ll be needing metal ones. Is that hard to make? My boyfriend is going to a metal shop soon to work on some stuff with a buddy of his. I could always sweet talk him into making me a pair. :teehee: That’s a good thought! Thanks!
I don’t know about you, but I have some duplicate needles, and I’m in need of some others.
If you have duplicate needles, and are in need of either a 1, or a 5 aluminum needles or maybe even a 10.5, please let me know, and maybe we can swap. I could use anything between 7-9, 11-12.
Sort of like an “I’ll scratch your back if you scracth mine!”
Did you ever find any takers?
PM what size and type of needles you NEED, and I’ll see if I have any. I have a TON of extra needles and would love to send them to a good home.
Thanks so much!
I really appreicate it. I sent you a PM.
