I’m brand-new to knitting and to this forum. A friend showed me all the basics and I eventually had about 10 rows done… but to make a long story short I tried to fix a mistake, made it worse, and decided to unravel and restart.
So I’m casting on again and the stitches look perfectly fine… except I noticed that every time I make a stitch the tail end keeps getting shorter and shorter. I don’t remember this happening the first time around! Maybe I just didn’t notice? I would appreciate any advice on how to keep this from happening. Thanks!
