K1F&B the same as a YO?
None of them are exactly alike and YO is different than all of them. A YO increase creates a hole/eyelet. KFB leaves a small ‘bar’ on the increased stitch which can also be decorative. Go to the increase video page and you can see how they all look on the sample.
A SSK and a sl1, k1, psso are both left slanting decreases and look just the tiniest bit different, but are basically the same thing. The rest are different.
While ssk, sl k psso and k2togtbl are all left slanting decs, the k2tog tbl twists the sts; slipping the sts on the other ones keeps them from being twisted.
A YO increase leaves a hole, kfb doesn’t, and m1 is another increase. Look at the Increases and Decreases page for videos.
