Hello! I am new to these forums, but I’ve been knitting for a few months.
I am currently working on a scarf, I hope I explain it right… But I am basically knitting in the round on straight needles by doing: knit 1, slip one purlwise, always ending on a purl and starting with a knit.
So it’s doubly thick and the same on both sides.
Anyway, I know how to switch colours in knitting, and I know about the trick for doing a stockinette stitch, if you knit the entire row, you get rid of that ugly dashed line you get when switching colours.
I can’t figure out how to do it with this pattern, I can’t switch to a different coloured stripe without the ugly dashed line showing up while switching. Does anyone have a suggestion? I’m pulling out my hair…
