I’m making a striped scarf and I’m not sure how to switch colors. I tried just using the new color to start the next row but that left me with a loop in the last color. I couldn’t find a video on this…Thanks for any help.

Usually this works. Are you slipping the first stitch of every row? If so you should work the last stitch of the section with the color you have been using with the new color, then turn and slip the stitch and begin working the new color row.
I’m not real sure what you mean by the loop you are getting.
It worked! Thanks!
There’s a video on this pageabout half-way down see the section titled Joining a New Color Yarn. Also, this websitehelped me to deal with the jog that comes with striping.
Youtube has some great vids about changing colors in knitting. Many are easy to understand. If you need any more resources, definitely try there.
