I have started on the left front and I don’t know what it really
means.
Cont in st st and rib as established (I know what that means)
but here is what I am not sure of:
increase 1 st at frnt edge (end of RS rows or beginning of
WS rows and inside of ribbed edge). Does this mean after
you do the ribbed edge (which is really the first 8 stitches
of the right side row of the left front) or before you do
the ribbed stitches.
Work your rib then do the increase. That’s how I interpret “and inside of ribbed edge.” Can you link to the pattern or a picture of it or something? That’s generally helpful.
For the RS rows on the left front, the increase is toward the end of the row, before the 8 ribbed sts. For increases on the WS, work the 8 rib sts, increase, then knit the rest of the row.
