I’ve never seen one like that. I don’t think I would have even known it was a swift! Good find! 
I wasn’t 100% sure it was a swift when I first saw it since they called it a squirrel cage. I googled it though and sure enough it is an upright swift…I knew it by that boring name 
Does it turn easily? Can you use it with a ball winder? That’s an AWESOME find!

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to show you the swift! Needs some WD40, but of course I had to try it IMMEDIATELY. It’s really going to help a lot…my DH hates to be my human swift.
It was a good find and would be relatively easy to make…now that I’ve seen it in person.
