Well I guess I’ll have to figure this out tomorrow. Don’t know why I can’t get my photos to show up.
My DD saw this pattern on Ravelry while we were browsing and had a fit for this blanket. So we got the same colors and yarn for me to make it for her. Used Knit Picks Suri Dream Solids - it’s SO soft! While this was really an easy knit, I won’t be making it again. There are just so many ends to weave in, then sewing the strips together. Just something I don’t really enjoy. Love the finished effect tho and she will be thrilled it’s done.
And this is a new iPod sock she requested. As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I had to try it. It’s just too cute!
The pattern is here and I used Berocco Lullaby yarn. It’s very soft and squishy.
I also made my niece some newborn baby hats last week - a cupcake hat, a pumpkin hat and a newborn beanie.
I have a pair of Fiber Trends Felted Clogs in the works - hoping they’ll be done sometime this week.
Nice blanket. The blocks of color are very pretty. There must be some way to cut down on the number of ends to work in.
I know an i-pod is some sort of electronics device, but this looks like a little hoodie. Does it just slide into the neck opening and it is sewn shut at the bottom? Very cute.
Everything looks like it turned out beautifully! I love the colors you used for the blanket … I agree that I probably wouldn’t want to make too many of those either, but I’m sure it’s something that your daughter will love for a long time. And that iPod case is adorable! LOVE IT!
I gotta know! How old is a child who can pitch a fit for a knitted blanket, and also have need for an iPod cover?
Onto more important things. . . . The blanket is absolutely beautiful.
The baby hats are darling.
But that iPod cover is just too darn cute. I just might have to get myself and iPod so I can make a cover like that.
Oh wow! What a great collection! Oh yeah, that Suri yarn is deeelicously soft!!! The little baby hats…how adorable! And the iPod ‘coat’…now that is to die for! What a neat idea!!
