Sweater vest pattern for 9 and 17 month old boys..?

I want to make my boys some sweater vest for x-mas(yay girl can dream :teehee:)
so does anyone know of a great and easy pattern for boys who is 17 month old and boy who is almost 9 years old?

There are a couple of patterns there that go from size 2-8 that would probably work.

thank you,i really like the blue one,do you know if it is hard to size it up one size?but i so not understand that pattern at all.
