Sweater Trouble

I am knitting a sweater that is knit in one peice and i am stuck, here is what the pattern reads- Next row(RS) Cast on 3 sts,k3,sl next st to cn and hold to front,k1,k1 from cn(FT),k to last 2 sts, sl next to cn and hold to back, k1,k1 from cn (BT)…

I am not sure what some of the abbreviations are or mean. What is: cn, (FT), (BT)

Thank you in advance,
M

cn = cable needle
BT = back twist
FT = front twist

There’s a list of abbreviations here - http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/abbreviations_explained/ - if you need more help deciphering

I am not sure what front twist means. I looked at the page above and still don’t get it.

“sl next st to cn and hold to front,k1,k1 from cn”, that whole set of instructions is how you do the FT (front twist). And the “sl next to cn and hold to back, k1,k1 from cn” is telling you how to do the BT (back twist).
