Sweater Decrease

Working a cable pattern sweater. Front sleeves directions say to decrease one stitch at each end of every row for 18 rows. What decrease method would you use? RS and WS?

If it’s stockinette, I like ssk at the beg of a RS row and k2tog at the end of row. On the WS row, p2tog at the beg of row and p2tog tbl at the end.
