Sweater chart help

A bit slowly. I had it done (I thought) and started knitting, but then found some errors in my chart. So I’m having another go. It’s kind of the same issue as knitting…being able to COUNT correctly!

Counting is always the thing isn’t it?
I once spent literally days trying to count the stitches on a lace top and couldn’t get it right. Eventually realised I was counting to 3 instead of 4. You wouldn’t think a person could go wrong counting to 3 or 4!

Where is the yoke chart you’re looking at?

And whoops! Can you spot the mistake? Good thing I hadn’t filed it all in yet… or used ink!

Yeah, the counting does my eyes in and I always end up counting it several times, just to make sure.

I actually can’t see the mistake lol. It looks good though!

Creations, the yoke chart is on the pdf, here:

Ah, yes, I see. Thanks.

None of the motifs are centralised or particularly considered across the various areas of the sweater are they. The designer has put time into charting the individual motifs and kindly shared it for free… leaving it up to knitters to figure out how they want to shift the motifs. I would probably want it symmetrical front and back. If you rechart it you might consider mirroring the angles and daleks so they face from the centre out, or all towards the centre.
The pics of the finished sweater are pretty impressive even with the lack of symmetry.

Yeah, I might alter it so the angels and daleks face in the direction you suggested. It will probably look better if it was symmetrical. Though I do love it either way.

It is really impressive. I can’t wait for mine to be finished. I’m doing blue for the main colour and white for the motifs xx

Love the reverse image color choice!

Thank you  Hopefully it looks the way I’m imagining!

I notice it says it’s “knit top up in the round”…

I would probably use the motifs individually and rearrange them so they were centered. The arrangement as it is bothers me a lot, but that’s me.

I’d definitely center SOMETHING in that yoke row! And flank it with 2 of something else, like angel, dalek, star, dalek, angel. Again, my preference. Your mileage may vary.

Yeah, that “top up in the round” confused me for a brief second lol.

I think I’ll definitely move some things around and definitely center something on the yoke. The suggestions are really helping, so thank you!
