Support Our Troops!

I was sent this site by e-mail. It really touched me! It is very good. I hope you will enjoy this video.

The soldier that wrote this song is quite talented, in my humble opinion.

Pray for them, the lonely tired soldiers, sick at heart from what they have seen, pray for them, no matter which branch of the army, be it Canadian or US.

These men and women are all human beings, sacrificing their lives for our freedom, while trying to help a land torn apart.

God Bless Our Troops! No matter how you feel about the war these soliders are doing what they have been asked to do and the majority of them consider it a priviledge. On 8/11 I had the honor to be in the crowd that welcomed back our hometown solider that was injured in Afghanistan.

As someone who comes from a family that has fought in every war this country has been involved with back to the revolution, and a former military member myself, I appreciate any and all who serve and/or support those who serve.

I read this quote recently and wish I could thank the person who said it…since I don’t know who that is, I’ll just pass it on.

"If you can't stand behind our troops...please, feel free to stand in front of them!

As a proud Airman, please know that we covet every “thank you” we get and thank you for your support!

My maternal grandfather, both parents, father in law, brother in law, nephew, husband and myself and our son, have all served, or are serving now. This isn’t written to brag, but I’m really proud of my family. Almost forgot the two uncles that died in Japanese POW camps in WWII, on my husband’s side.

I am extremely proud of our Troops. I lost a brother in the Korean War. My husband, son and some uncles have been in the military. God bless all the Troops. Thanks for sharing the song.

Wow!

I’m someone who was raised to appreciate the sacrifices our military make every day for my freedom. Supporting the troops is the very least I can do for them & their families.

When I was little, friends and I would volunteer at the Red Cross in the summer. I believe we were in the fifth grade. We would package items in ziplock bags, because of the swampy places the soldiers were in, they needed things to keep moisture out. We wrote letters, also. We were sending things to The Big Red One. It made us feel helpful and it was a lot of fun. I can’t imagine doing what our soldiers do, and I am very appreciative.:cheering:
