Super Saver

I’m on a yarn buying freeze to save money and have said I will only use what I have. I have a good stock pile to keep going. But I’m trying to knit some dishcloths now as the old ones are starting to fray and I thought that would be a great money saver.

Well, it’s something. I just finished one with sugar 'n cream so about $1.75 for the towel.

Anyway, I have some super saver yarn here I bought and did not end up using. Can I use that for a dishcloth do you think? I guess it’s more for drying hands in the kitchen. I rarely dry dishes, i stack them on a towel on the counter.

Super saver should absorb well so I think it should be fine.

Super Saver is acrylic so it will not absorb like cotton. You can give it a try though.

I grabbed a sample I had done before and tried drying my hands on it. You’re right. Bah. I have so much super saver! Lots and lots! Red and pink and purple and b&w.
