Suggestions for a circular needle set to purchase

Hi everyone. I am a tight knitter and like aluminum because of that. I would like lengths 16" or so to much longer for sweaters, etc. I’m not seeing something like this in the shop or did I miss something? The cost is no object as I prefer quality. They don’t have to be aluminum as long as the material used works well for tight knitters and someone who only uses the continental method. Thank you for suggestions in advance.

I knit Continental (I don’t see why that matters in needle choice, but that’s OK) and used to be a much tighter knitter. I love my Nova needles I got through this site. I don’t have 16"ers but I do use magic loop. HTH

So last night I bought this from eBay and I’m super duper excited about it. I have no idea if it’s going to be great products, but for $16.99, getting 7 different circular needles were too hard for me to pass up! Maybe that’ll help you?

I really love the Addi Turbo circs that I have (I use the Turbo Lace circs), nice flexible cord and good points. I just yesterday ordered a set of KnitPicks Options nickel plated needles. Have heard good things about them, and the set is a good price.

The cable on those needles isn’t going to as flexible as you might like, I think. I have one set of circs with a metal cable and won’t get anymore. YMMV As for price, if you like the needles it’s a great price.

At the top of the page is a shopping link that helps the knitting forum. I recommend Knitters Pride Novas if you like metal. I really like mine and the cable is thin and flexible.

I have the Addi Short Lace interchangeable set and really like them. The cords are very flexible and they come with 5 different sizes of cords instead of the usual 4 in most other sets.
I also have several non interchangeable needles from Hiya Hiya that I really like.
Most interchangeable sets don’t go smaller than 4’s due to the connections not working well smaller than that. The Hiya Hiya set does go down to a size 2 I believe. A friend of mine has them and loves them, but I’m not sure about the connections on the smaller ones.

Thanks, we’ll see how I feel when I get them. I’m definitely able to adapt to “annoying things” if it means I can save myself some money when it comes to purchasing tools in the beginning.
