Suggest a yarn - please :)

I want to start work on a project that suggest Rowan’s Magpie Tweed.
This yarn is discontinued. I am not sure it was ever sold in the US under that name anyway. In any case Rowan also sells an Aran tweed that fits the bill - but honestly I can not afford $16.00 bucks a skein. Thats 160.00 bucks for the project

But I really do want to use a good quality yarn for this project. Does anyone have any suggstions for a less expensive yarn?

I have looked at the WOTA from knit picks - but I saw some dispariging remarks on this forum about it. I have their sock yarn and its fine for my needs. Is the WOTA yarn similar in texture? I dont find it scratchy in the least. But I would hate to order it and have it be yuck. Also the WOTA is not available in a tweed. I will settle - but I do so love tweed!

Please help

WOTA tends to pill. I would only use it for felted items. You might look at Merino Style, instead.

Any thoughts on this yarn?

The gauge is off a tiny (5 to the inch instead of 4.5) bit but the pattern is a one size fits all that knits up to a 47" chest. Thats a really big sweater
and I am not that big of a woman.

The dark grey is just perfect for what I have in mind.

Hoe bout one of these?

What about Cascade 220 tweed?

I ended up buying the donnegal tweed in brown. It suits my budget and looks really nice. Time will tell no?
