This is the next purse I want to knit. I think it’s just adorable!

You’re welcome. The design is well-hidden on the internet, actually. I found it among several other bag patterns, and the photo is a separate link from the pattern. If I hadn’t clicked on the photo, I wouldn’t have known how pretty it was!

I’m thinking about making two, pink and lavendar, and giving one to each of my step-daughters. My favorite color is yellow, which might look nice for me, but I really like that ivory shade.

is the handle knit on, or felted separately and then attached?

I think (if I’m reading the pattern correctly) that the handle is knit on.

Yes, the handle is knit on before felting.
