How do I:
S1pwyif, k1, yo, s1pwyib, k2, psso2 sts
This is to form a herringbone pattern. I’m having trouble with yo, slip part. For yo, do I wrap yarn all the way around the needle and then to the back?

Welcome to the forum!
Where is your pattern for this herringbone from please? Is it in a pattern and if so can you give us the name of the pattern and designer?
After the k1, yo the yarn is to the back. You can then slip the next stitch purlwise and knit the next 2sts.
It’s the Chilled to the Herringbone Scarf by Skein Tight
Thanks! I’ll try
Good looking pattern!
Let us know if it’s working.
My practice switch is not looking right. I think I need to go to the yarn shop to get help. It’s the yo and then the slip st that is messing up.
Have you worked a couple of rows to start to see the pattern? Are you keeping the same stitch count?
If you think it would help, you can post a photo. Of course having someone right there to see the sts as you work them is ideal.
