Stump sock pattern!

My 9 year old son has been an amputee since he was 1 year old and let me tell you he outgrows stump socks every time I turn around. Stump socks are about $12 a piece and they make you broke in a heartbeat. I just found a pattern on how to make your own stump socks !!! I am so excited !!! Just thought I would post it for anyone else out there that might have an amputee in their life.

I’m so happy that you found a pattern  My dad was a bilateral amputee and he certainly would have loved those

OOoh, you could make them in school or favorite sports team colors!

That’s what I was thinking. All of Mickey’s stump socks are white… blah… and he really likes the State of Alabama University. Their colors are red and white. And I was thinking maybe some black ones since that is his favorite color. Maybe if I get good at them I can put a skull on one (he loves skulls). This will certainly be funner for a little boy to wear than plain old white stump socks  .

What a great idea! I like the idea that you can personalize them for him, too!
