why is the simplest instruction the hardest to find? I can’t find any resource anywhere that tells me how I’m supposed to knit a stuffed animal limb onto the body part. as simple as that sounds, it ain’t simple to me! that’s rocket science talk
I want to finish my snappy crocodile from knitted toys by zoe mellor. it’s finishing off instructions are vague, and don’t really tell me how to finish the doll
so if you don’t mind, can you please help me with the finishing off my snappy crocodile?
the doll’s mouth is supposed to be open. so I have the inside of the mouth, the top of the body, and the under body. what I don’t understand is how to attach the inside of the mouth to the upper and lower body part. I understand the mattress seam, but that doesn’t seem appropriate here?
and if the seams of the mouth have to be showing, can I still use a mattress seam to finish off the rest of the body?
how to do I sew the little legs onto the body?
and lastly, how do you sew felt onto yarn, is there a trick?
thanks for your help!
