Hi there
I am knitting a jumper from a vintage pattern. I have completed the front which decreased as follows:
[ul]
[li]Dec 1st. at each end of next and every alt row until 49 sts remain
[/li][li]p15, turn and continue on this group dec at both armhole edge and neckline until 5 sts remain
[/li][li]Continue dec at armhole edge only until 2 sts remain fasten off
[/li][li]Sl centre 19 onto holder
[/li][li]Repeat above on remaining group of sts.
[/li][/ul]
So I have done this but then the pattern for the back says:
work to *** as for front (so above is the bit after ***)
Dec as before until 33 sts remain, slip onto spare needle I don’t understand what ‘Dec as before’ means does it mean as I did for the front?
Then for the sleeve its says:
Shape raglan and work pattern as on back until 9 sts remain
Help!!
