Hi, this may be a silly question, my knitting pattern says next row - is this the row I’m about to do or the row after?
It’s the row you are about to do.
For example if it said knit 3 rows. Next row purl.
It would mean purl on row 4.
I often automatically switch my needles around at the end of a row (knitting straight needles back and forth) and that can make it a bit more confusing for me, “hmm, next row, is it this one or the next one?” But if I don’t switch the needles around at the end of the row and instead just end the row and pause to check the instruction, well then it is a little less confusing.
Hope this helps
