Stripes in ribbing

On a simple ribbed scarf, like a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3, would the “purl bump” sides of the color changes be somewhat disguised or more hidden in ribbing since the purl stitches are “sucked in” between the knit stitches?

I found some Kool Wool cheap on clearance at Hobby Lobby, 4 skeins of a nice olive color, and one skein of a heathered tan, and thought some contrasting stripes in the tan at either end in a ribbed scarf would be a nice manly scarf.

When I change colors in ribbing, I knit that first row of the color change to avoid the purl bump, and it really isn’t noticeable in the overall ribbing.
