I’m looking for some yarn that’s self striping, you know the long strands of the same color then it switches, I’m new at knitting, I didn’t see this yarn when I went to Michael’s craft store. anyone have an online link?

Lots of online shops have them. Knit Picks, Ram Wools, Yarn Market…there’s a ton. Most sites allow you to search by various methods, including self-striping.
