:help: I have been turning the heel of a sock and was doing the short rows, complete with wraps, and had no problems until I started lengthening the rows. The stitches at the very ends have become astonishingly streched out. I use a circular needle. How can I avoid and/or fix this, please?
I’ve never done a heel with w&t for the short rows. My only thought is to try to keep the stitches that are being stretched on the cord for more flexibility. I suspect that when you get back to them and later when you wash the sock, they’ll even out, but I’m not quite sure.
