What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Nice backpack! The video I linked to should be good for picking up sts along the edge and then along the cast on or bind off. You can start anywhere but start in the middle of a side, not at a corner.
Thank you!!! I thought and retread instructions! I see where the 42 and 18 sts are!! Dahhhhh so look I started picking up… but the Joining IN THE ROUND I HAVE BEVER DONE! I tried but… I Will do this! I’m going to show you! lol
That looks good so far! Continue picking up around the other 2 sides. Once you’ve come back to the first stitch picked up, continue knitting around the picked up sts. That’ll join them in the round. Then it’s just a matter of knitting each stitch through the back loop around and around until you reach 50 rounds (or the height you would like).
