Stole-''The mesh comfort''

Hello everyone! My name is Yelena (lima) and I’m russian- american knitter, who lives in Pittsburgh, since 1998.

I wasn’t on this forum for a few years. I simply forgot my nickname and password here.

Recently, I was able to restore my profile and-I’m back!!!

Here is the result of a self-designed shoulder cape design.

First, I knitted Four wedges, that turning stripes into a horseshoe shape:

Due to such rounding, the cape sits perfectly on the shoulders: it does not slip off the shoulders, and even no ties or fastenings of the ends are required.

classic version to wear:

back view:

You can raise your hands up:

and even dance:

The stole will not fall from the shoulders.

If you want to warm the chest, you can wear it, on the contrary:

side view:

Therefore, for convenience, you can fasten the ends with a tie by pulling it into the holes of the extreme row, close to the edge of the scarf.

If the scarf on the shoulders is tired, or it just got hot, you can turn it into a thigh drape.

You can go back home from a walk - like this:

…or placing the drape with a sagging end in the middle of the front:

And so you can wrap up warmer:

Very comfortable fit. The stole will accent any outfit.

The color of unripe lingonberries is not intrusive, prone to pastel and neutral.

Also I imaged the mesh stitch for this shawl.
