Stockinette stitch - - end with a WS row?!?!

I’m knitting a sweater in Stockinette stitch (alternating knit and purl rows).
My pattern says to end with a WS (wrong side) row.
Does that mean that my last row should be a PURL row? (since the WS is facing me when doing the purl row?)

20 years of knitting and I can’t even answer this question; I feel silly!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes you got it. End on a purl row.

I like to think of it as “end after” instead of “end on”. They usually say it end on a WS row. The purl side is usually the WS in stockinette. So think of it as end after the purl rown.
