Stockinette roll will i cord help?

My cowl is all in Stockinette st and of course it rolls on the ends. Would adding an i cord to the lower end help it roll less?

Or could I do something else?

I-cord won’t really help. You can try picking up stitches and adding a border of 6-8 rows of garter or other non rolling stitch. It may still want to fold on the pick up row though.

It could help. Or if you pick up sts and knit some garter or seed st on the edges.
