oooooohhhh, i need help.
i am trying to make an old school (SS and CoS) style scarf (hopefully, eventually, one for each house). i’ve got my circular needle, and for some reason, this isn’t looking right to me, and i’ve ripped it apart three times now.
i think i might be doing something wrong but have no one to show/tell me in person- but i dunno. here’s what i’ve been doing:
~casting on (duh)
~knitting one row to the marker
(here’s where i’m thinking something isn’t right)
~switching to purl a whole row, to the marker again, rinse, repeat.
i’m not supposed to flip the piece and work over what i’ve just knitted, am i? because i haven’t been, but it looks like it’s ribbed horizontally. not the look i’m going for. can anyone point me in the right direction?
:crying: :crying: :crying:
