Stitching looping knit jumper together

Hello, I’m knitting a very open knit loopy jumper, does anyone have an suggestions on the best way of sewing up the seams? Thanks x

HI Demelza, Welcome to KH.


This article is a bit long winded but it will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about seaming knits lol!!
This suggests using mattress stitch for a loose edged knit, but it will depend on your selvedges which is the best way to go. I’ve just simply oversewn with the same yarn when there isn’t much of an edge to work with.
