Should I use mattress stitch or kitchener stitch for sewing up the back of this hat?
Just from the quick read through of the pattern…I think I would mattress stitch. If I am not mistaken, kitchener is usually done with live stitches and there aren’t live stitches.
Can you post pictures of the hat when you are done? It is a really cute pattern!
Also kitchener st is done end to end, like a shoulder seam, not edge to edge.
