(knit 1, purl 1, knit 1) all into next st
Whattt?
How??
First you work a knit stich like you normally do…leave the st on the needle and then enter it purlwise, purl like you normally do…leave the st on the needle and enter knitwise and knit one like you normally do…
Its an increase (a DOUBLE increase!)
where there was 1 stitch, (left needle) there will be 3 (right needle
VERY similar, (and easier to do) is Knit, YO, Knit
stick the right needle into the stitch, K1, but don’t let old stitch slide off left needle
bring yarn to front P into same stitch
bring yarn to back and then knit into the same stitch
Now let told stitch fall off the tip of the left needle
Don’t forget to check out the Video’s (see top of page for links) if you still are having trouple…
LOOK in the INCREASES folder–and then look for double increases!
Though with the K YO K inc, there’s a small hole you won’t get with the K P K.
