I have some leftover balls of variegated yarn that I and would love to pair up with a couple balls of solid color that I also already own. They look great together, both worsted weight, simply screaming to me to ‘hook them up’!
But WHAT should they be? Vest? Wrap? 4 Booga style bags? I want to love and wear/use the marriage of these two.
How have YOU used two colors? Anything besides stripes that really caught your eye?
How about a Chevron Scarf! http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=chevron%20scarf&w=all&s=int The pattern is in the book Last Minute Gifts. These samples are using two different variegated yarns, but a solid and variegated would look great too, I bet.
Right now I am working dd’s wallaby using a solid for the ribbing, pocket and hood; and a variegated for the body and sleeves. I finished my kitchen sink bag that used to yarns. Oh and I just got the pattern for clogs. If it is feltable it could be a clog Christmas around you!
