Hi! Could someone please tell me if it will make a difference to the end product if you knit the slipped stitches in the front as opposed to the back loop? Thank you!
A SSK (slipping the 1st two sts individualy knit wise) twists each st separately before knitting them together, causing them to lean to the left.

If you try to slip through the back loop, you don’t twist the sts. i.e. It’s as if you slipped them purlwise, and when you then knit them together they aren’t as even. This is also known as a K2togtbl.
