Soft Yarns?

Hello,

I am preparing to knit a baby blanket, and would like to use a very soft yarn. I recently bought Knit Picks Comfy Worsted yarn. When the order arrived, I loved the texture/softness of the yarn, but was disappointed in the colors. While the pictures were bright and cheerful online, the actual yarn colors are very dull so I’m afraid I will be returning. Any suggestions of alternative brands to try?

When I knit for babies I use either Caron Simply Soft or Berocco Comfort. Both wash up really well and stay soft. I knit both my boys blankets out of the Berocco Comfort and 5 and 3 yrs later neither is pilling.
