Square #1 (the Socks Square) of the Great American Afghan has me stymied: How do I do the “Duplicate St” instruction to knit the word “SOCKS” in each of thr four areas bordering the square? I’ve got everything done except knitting that word onto the piece and can’t figure it out. I’m determined to knit this challenging afghan and hate it that I got stumped on the very first square!
