Sock Toe Question

I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make my kitchnered toes too look nicer. The problem is that the edges look a bit … pointy. Any idea how i can round out my toes a little bit more? Can i just block the pointiness out?

I don’t know how to fix those kitchener toes - I don’t like them either. This suggestion won’t help you now, but for future reference, let me introduce you to the rounded toe!! It is my favorite sock toe now, I don’t do the kitchener thing on socks anymore.

This toe takes the last 15 rounds so using sock yarn and size 2 needle like I usually do it’s about the last 1.5". It doesn’t really matter how many stitches you are using. It might not work out exactly but it doesn’t matter in the end.

Cut yarn and thread through a tapestry needle; thread needle through all remaining stitches on needle and pull tight. Weave in ends.

Here’s a picture of how it looks. :muah:

Thank you so much! I will try this out on my next pair of sock! I have some nice Lisa Souza yarn that is just waiting to get knit up!
