Sock toe/Kitchener stitch Q

I have a sock with 75 stitches (my stitch pattern is 5 stitches and 80 sts would have been too large). I have 37 for the instep and 38 for the sole.

I am coming to the end of the foot of the first sock and maybe I should have thought this out better before I started… but how am I going to make a toe with an odd number of stitches? I am sure there are several ways to fudge it, but what is the best way?

I’d decrease 1 stitch on the last row to even them up. In the center of sole or put an extra dec. into the toe shaping. Its such a small amount on a fine gauge it won’t be noticed.
