I’ve started on my second pair of socks. The problem is, I forget a few details. I don’t understand which is the outside of the sock. Pictures show the starting point as a triangle, with the needles starting at the point farthest away from your body. That means when you start the knit stitch, it ends up on the inside of the tube. That means I’d be knitting the socks inside out. So, I assume that the “tube” has to come towards me as I’m knitting, so that the inside of the tube is the purl. Am I correct about this?? Thanks for any feedback.
Keep the two needles that you’re working with closest to you so that your knit stitches end up on the outside.
Thanks so much Ingrid, now I can proceed without feeling I wasn’t sure i was doing the right thing.
