Sock Question

Okay, I’m on my second pair of socks (yay me!) and this has struck me as odd before, but I thought I better ask now before I am on the heel again.
When you get to the heel and you put the stitches from needle 1 and needle 4 on the same needle, haven’t you knit an extra row on needle 1? You finish the row on needle 4, then knit the stitches from needle 1 onto needle 4…is this a problem? This is what I did on my last sock and it seemed to be okay, but am I doing it wrong?
Thanks!

You’re right it makes the place where you change rows change from where it started out and some stitches are knit one extra row, and no it doesn’t cause any trouble.

Nope no problem after about a hundred socks it comes out ok for me. Have fun knitting socks can you tell I love making socks. :roflhard::roflhard::roflhard:
