Sock puppets

I have just discovered the joy of knitting socks with “Socks Soar on 2 circular needles” I will be making Christmas gifts for family using a basic pattern.

However, for the kids, I wanted to do something a bit more fun. Does anyone have some simple, basic, easy, sock puppet patterns?

Go to www.craftbits.com and under the Free Patterns tab, then sewing (I think) there’s instructions for making a sock monkey. Hope this is what you’re looking for.
