So I am venturing into the scary world of socks (and anything with shape; anything other than rectangles) and wondered if there is a conversion method/formula for converting dpn patterns to ML patterns. Thanks in advance!! :):knitting:
I have done socks on DPNs, and wanted to try them on magic loop. There’s no conversion needed really - but when I got down to the round knitting past the gussett, the stitches were flipped-suddenly the stockinette was on the inside. I have no idea why! So I switched to DPNs to finish and it was fine. I’m hoping someone will have some info for you that will help me figure out what I did wrong. I love magic loop!
SBG - I was knitting my ML inside out as well until I read this discussion on Ravelry. I guess it’s a common beginner mistake. Hopefully, you are on Ravelry so that you can read this. It really helped me out!!
Awesome! That helps
You’re welcome!! Pay attention to post #19 - That’s what really helped me.
WOW your brave. I will go over dpn-ml in our class. I’m makinga note of it.
