SOB...Warning, RANT/VENT

Hi…started this “lovely” baby blanket months ago…and put it up…pulled it out yesterday and restarted (about 1/4 done)…very nice project CO 126 sts RW1 K1,p1, rep from *5 times, k53,p53, *k1,p1 rep from * 5times RW 2 P1,k1"rep from * 5times, K53,P53,*p1, k1 rep from * 5 times. This starts after a very nice “seed st” border…anyway here’s the rant…I have everything nicely organized (2 balls going each in a paper bag as not too tangle) all st markers in place, everything looking great. (Here comes the rant) I accidentaly “joined” the project…yes, working on circs…OMG HAD TO RIP OUT AT LEAST 3 ROWS OF 126 STS OF K AND P’S:waah: …o.k I am better now!!!:aww:

Waaaaahhhhh! This time, use a marker just so when you run into it, you know where the end of the row is. After 3 or 4 rows you probably won’t need it anymore.

A little ranting and raving does a body good. Now, I am not certain about frogging, tinking, but as long as your work is back on track you will breathe deeply and be careful the next time around.?? Hey, been there, etc., etc.

Aww thanks…You don’t know 'bout frogging, tinking?..Well, it starts like this: first, you realize that you’ve made a huge boo boo…then you “cuss”, rip out you needle(s) and look at your work and say “OMG I can’t “undo” this project”, then you take a smaller needle and try and “tink” back, picking up every single st (in my case 2strands held tog) and try not to twist either strand/drop any st…then you start all over with the row and re-twist/pick up any drop sts…then you pray or cover your head and weep!!!:muah: and forget about the “shower” gift you planned to give to your best friend!!!

I just frogged a hat completely after semi-frogging it 4 times. Feel better now?

I have the greatest pair of flip top mittens you’d ever want to see. Took a good look at them last night. I made two right hand mittens instead of a right and left. Oh, well.

Advertise for someone who made 2 left mittens.

But seriously, where can I find the pattern? I’m looking for flip-tops.
