I was looking for knitting stickers on eBay and I discovered these little gems: lighted knitting needles. LOL I don’t know what kind of situation you would need these for but I thought it was funny. Enjoy!
LOL, DH got me some similar, only tips are lit. They were fun, but the LCD light is SO bright that anyone sitting adjacent to you feels like they are going blind. LOL.
If you can’t knit in the dark as I can, then the lights can definitely help you see what you’re doing, but it’s rather distracting to everyone else.
Might make good tool for ushers at a movie theatre :teehee:
Additionally, the batteries it takes makes the sticks a little heavier, there were 3 or 4 watch batteries for each stick of mine, and that was for just lighting up the tip. :teehee:

I prefer my camping headlamp with 6 led and using three triple A batteries.
There are four light settings: red, spot, flood, and combined spot-flood.
I picked one up for between 10 and 15 dollars at Wal-Mart.
The red setting is great for Jawa eyes!
:roflhard: [/color]
I need to get me one of them You should see the “contraption” I have going! DH hates the overhead light on and my side lamps are kinda dim, so I have I snake neck lamp hooked via a bungie cord to the wood rack behind me, where it can sit above my head on the couch…all so I can see what the heck I am doing (especially with the #*@ socks I am working on !) I should take a picture…It’s really quite innovative :teehee:
I really use the camping headlight!!! I have it secured to the visor in my car and it shines into my lap. DH and I drive to work, he drives, and I knit while we commute.
The needles would be great but they would be expensive to get in all sixes… PLUS I prefer circulars but what a great idea:happydance:
