back on the needles the wrong way, with the leading leg in back instead of in the front. If I knit those incorrect stitches through the back loop, will it correct that and leave me with a correct new stitch, or will it correct the backward stitch, but leave me with a twisted new stitch? Or should I just suck it up and correct them (about 55 stitches on DPNs) either individually or all at once before I start knitting ? 
Knitting through the back loops should untwist them just fine.
