I’m looking for some small, cute, stylish knitting-on-the-go bags. Particularly for small take along projects. Kinda like a Go-Knit Pouch, but cuter.
Any suggestions?

I have a bag that a Japanese friend bought for me and it’s absolutely perfect. It holds a good sized ball of yarn. I might look for drawstring kimono bags on ebay because I absolutely love mine
Starburst, could you post a photo of the bag? I’d like to make something like that for myself.
Thanks!!
It’s just the right size to keep one ball from getting unwound and tangled in a bigger bag, but not big enough for a whole project. That’s ok for me though, because I keep the yarn in the kimono bag and that, along with the project and needles, inside of a cheap drawstring sports bag

There ya go! if you want pictures of seams and whatnot, let me know
That is really cute!!!
I felt like such an idiot when I first realized I could use it for yarn because I had just made a cannister to keep my yarn in when I looked up at my bulletin board and saw the bag hanging there, holding (I kid you not) rocks. I had gone on a beach walk probably five summers before hand and I picked up a few rocks that I liked. Not knowing what to do with them, I stashed them in the red bag and hung them on my bulletin board.
Thanks… that is a cute bag! I have some traditional Korean fabrics that would look cute in a bag–
I have made ‘drawstring’ knitting project bags for friends that I’ve taught how to knit… (big enough for a project… made out of ‘funky’ 60’s looking retro fabric.
I think that I should make myself something too, don’t you think?
who said “sharing the love” meant sharing with others? of course you should make one for yourself!
I was just having a very similar thought. When I saw the post I was thinking I need some bags for my projects. I was just having the oh yeah, I could make some for myself moment when I read your post!
